"If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
For nearly three decades, Kim has crafted the same soap using her original recipe; Pure, nourishing, and free from chemicals or preservatives. Her entire product line follows this same philosophy:
If it works, keep it simple. Keep it clean. Keep it kind.

Rooted in Nature.
Originally from Chelsea, MA, Kim spent her childhood summers on Mirror Lake in Wolfeboro and later in Alton Shores, NH. At 12, she and her family moved permanently to their summer home on Alton Mountain, nestled in the heart of New Hampshire’s beautiful Lakes Region.
It was there that Kim’s love for animals, nature, and wild medicinal plants truly began. Her parents taught her how to live off the land; Gardening, foraging, preserving food, and connecting with the natural world. Kim fondly recalls being sent out to gather dandelion leaves and other healing herbs from the woods.
From Mountain to Farm.
When Kim was 15, her family sold their mountain home and purchased a 200-acre farm on New Durham Road in Alton. Working alongside her parents and siblings with the animals and gardens felt less like work and more like magic. She was home.

A life of teaching and growing.
Kim pursued degrees in Early Childhood Education and Business. At 21, she opened her first business — a preschool and daycare — right in the basement of the family farm. By 1987, she had built a new home and expanded the school to include a petting farm, pony camp, farm store, and eventually her beloved herb shop.
In 2009, she became a Certified Herbalist. After nearly three decades of running her preschool, Kim officially closed that chapter in 2012 to fully focus on her herbal journey.
Herbal Apprenticeship & Present Day
In 2013, Kim created the Herbal Apprentice Program, which continues to thrive today. From her home workshop in Gilmanton, NH, she grows medicinal herbs, teaches aspiring herbalists, and handcrafts every product in small batches.
"I stand behind every product I make and offer a 100% guarantee."
At Moore Farm, Kim’s mission is to reconnect people with the healing power of plants and the wisdom of traditional, earth-based living.
